Curious about my semi-private fitness classes?

You’re invited to visit my home studio, see the space, meet a few of the participants, and take part in a class so you can experience firsthand what small group training feels like.


When you arrive, you’ll be warmly welcomed into the studio and shown around the space. You’ll then be invited to join the class, giving you the opportunity to move, learn, and see how exercises are adapted for different bodies and ability levels — all in a supportive and relaxed environment.


What to Expect

Each session with Candace is carefully crafted for adults 50 and over, keeping each client's personal needs, capabilities, and goals in mind. Providing you with safe workouts and sessions to build muscle and stay strong, mobile, and pain-free through functional exercises that meet you exactly where you are.


In my Waverley Heights home based fitness studio you’ll receive personal attention and guidance with the encouragement of a supportive registered personal trainer and a uplifting fitness community. You’ll move better, feel stronger, sleep better, and regain the energy to do the things you love, and even the chores you don't.  


With over 25 years of fitness experience, I train you to:

  • Zumba - Strength - Stretch – Enjoy fun, low-impact dancing with rhythm and energy for cardiovascular and coordination improvement  
  • Yoga – Release tension, restore balance, and calm the mind 
  • Virtual Yoga – Join from home, the lake, or while travelling, (recorded classes emailed to you every week to practice between live session)

In this semi-private class, you’ll train in a welcoming space with just four participants, allowing for individualized guidance, expert instruction, and the personal attention you deserve. Every session is a safe, supportive step toward a stronger, more capable you.


The exercises are customized to your unique body and goals—no cookie-cutter workouts here. I’ll create a program that enhances your strength, balance, endurance, and flexibility, using functional fitness techniques that help you move better in everyday life. This isn’t just about fitness; it’s about feeling energized, confident, and pain-free while enjoying your favorite hobbies and daily activities with ease.


Each class is filled with positive energy, uplifting music, and a small community that cheers you on. You’ll leave each session feeling not only physically stronger but also mentally refreshed and more connected to your body.

Throughout every workout, I’ll guide you through proper alignment, form, and technique, helping you stay safe, prevent injury, and get the most out of each exercise. 55+ Semi- Private STRENGTH & STRETCH

This slow-paced, supportive class is designed for adults in their 50s, 60s, and 70s who want to move confidently, safely, and without pain. Ideal for anyone recovering from joint replacements, managing arthritis or chronic stiffness, or starting (or restarting) fitness after time away.


Each session combines gentle strength training and guided stretching to help you build mobility, stability, and functional strength for everyday life. The small group class feels more like personalized training with friends than a typical group workout — intimate, encouraging, and safe, meeting you and your needs.

We use chairs, exercise balls, straps, dumbbells, and resistance bands for full support and comfort. Some sessions are fully seated; others include simple standing movements — always steady, safe, and tailored to your comfort level.

The semi-private format enables personalized coaching, guidance and feedback on your form, helping choose which exercise versions are the best for your body, all in a welcoming environment with great music and enthusiasm. Here -  you can build strength and cardio health safely and effectively.


Each class features carefully designed functional fitness circuits that combine cardiovascular exercise, resistance training, mobility, and flexibility work. This unique blend helps improve heart and lung capacity, muscle tone, and balance — all while giving your metabolism and energy levels a lasting boost.

55+ Semi - Private CHAIR YOGA

  Chair Yoga for Adults 55+ – Restore, Relax and Feel at Home in Your Body

Step into a peaceful space where gentle yoga for adults 55+ is practiced in a way that truly honors your body.

This welcoming Chair Yoga class in Winnipeg brings together the calming, mindful elements of my traditional 55+ yoga classes with the added comfort and accessibility of a sturdy chair. It is ideal for anyone who wants to move safely, improve mobility, and reconnect with their body without needing to get down on the floor.

Classes are held in my cozy home studio in Waverley Heights and are limited to just four participants. This small group setting allows for personalized attention and a supportive environment that often feels more like private instruction than a group class.

Each week features a mindful focus, such as opening the hips, improving posture, releasing the lower back, or calming the mind, allowing you to grow your practice gradually and at your own pace.

Gentle Movement and Stretching
Experience restorative-style yoga supported by a sturdy chair, along with blocks, straps, blankets, and pillows. This approach is especially helpful for tight hips, sore knees, balance concerns, or bodies recovering from injury or illness. Every class is designed to help you move comfortably, release tension, and improve circulation.

Mindful Breathwork and Relaxation
Through guided breathing and relaxation techniques, you will calm your nervous system, quiet the mind, and leave each class feeling lighter, clearer, and more grounded.

Personalized Guidance
With only four participants per class, you receive individualized support through gentle verbal cues and guidance to help you move safely and experience each posture comfortably.

Perfect for those who want to stay strong, flexible, and grounded from the comfort of home, this online yoga program combines gentle movement, mindful breathing, and personalized guidance in an intimate, supportive group setting.


With a maximum of six participants, you’ll receive the same personal attention and feedback you’d experience in the studio — right from your own living room or cottage.


Each session is thoughtfully themed around a body area (such as hips, spine, or shoulders) or a chakra focus, helping you deepen awareness, balance, and overall well-being.


Slow, Supportive Movement

Enjoy gentle yoga sequences designed to stretch tight muscles, improve mobility, and maintain bone and muscle strength — all without strain.

Weekly Class Recordings

Can’t make a class? Each live Zoom session is recorded and emailed to you afterward, so you can practice anytime during the week and never lose your rhythm.

Semi - Private Barre, Mobility Dance & Stretch

 This fun and uplifting class blends barre-inspired movements, gentle dance mobility work, and stretching into one energizing session.


We begin with a short warm-up and stretch to prepare the body. The class then moves into a lively barre segment set to music, combining elements of Pilates, yoga, and simple ballet–inspired movements to build strength, balance, and coordination.


From there, we transition into light cardio with flowing, dance-like movements designed to open the body, improve mobility, and get the blood circulating in an enjoyable way. 


A short core segment helps strengthen the center of the body before we finish with a longer stretch to release tension and leave you feeling relaxed and refreshed.

This class is designed to be fun, supportive, and accessible, helping participants improve mobility, strength, and body awareness while enjoying music and movement.


Great for those who want variety and fun in their workouts while being safe for knees and hips.
