Friday, April 24, 2026
7:30 PM – 9:30 PM
Candace Csordas Fitness & Wellness Home Studio
27 Lakeglen Dr
Waverley Heights, Winnipeg
This intimate gathering invites you to slow down, release tension from the hands, arms, and heart space, and reconnect with yourself through simple yet deeply restorative rituals.
Designed for a small group, the evening blends spa-inspired self-care with gentle yoga and reflective practices to leave you feeling calm, refreshed, and deeply nourished.
Wellness Reflection & Intention Setting
We begin the evening by grounding into the space and setting a personal intention. Together we explore the value of intentional self-care and how small, mindful rituals can calm the nervous system and support overall well-being.
Hand Soak & Custom Scrub Ritual
Create your own personalized hand scrub using fresh seasonal ingredients and natural textures inspired by spring—such as citrus, basil, and thyme with essentials oils. You will enjoy a soothing hand soak using your blend during the retreat and take home your handcrafted scrub to continue the ritual throughout the season.
Light Refreshments
Enjoy light refreshments during a relaxed pause between the spa ritual and yoga portion of the evening.
Meditation & Breathwork
Gentle guided practices designed to quiet the mind, regulate the nervous system, and deepen your sense of calm.
Hands to Heart Yoga Practice
A slow, nurturing yoga sequence focused on releasing tension through the hands, wrists, arms, shoulders, and chest while encouraging openness through the heart space.
Supportive Community Connection
The evening concludes with quiet connection and shared presence, allowing you to leave feeling grounded, cared for, and renewed.

Strong Bones, Strong Body
Osteoporosis Education & Movement Workshop
Date: Friday, March 20
Time: 2:00–4:00 PM
Capacity: Limited to 7 participants
Strong Bones, Strong Body is a supportive, evidence-informed workshop designed for individuals with osteoporosis or osteopenia — or anyone who wants to better understand their bones, move with greater confidence, and safely build strength.
Many people with osteoporosis are told to “be careful,” but are rarely shown how to move safely and effectively. Others receive conflicting information and are left unsure about what truly supports bone health.
This workshop is designed to bring clarity.
With over 25 years of experience teaching fitness classes, yoga, personal training, and facilitating wellness workshops, Candace Csordas guides participants through practical strategies that support bone strength while helping you feel confident in how you move.
During our time together, we will explore:
• What osteoporosis actually means — and what it does not
• How bone density changes as we age
• Why being “fit” does not always equal bone protection
• How strength training and appropriate impact stimulate bone
• Safe strength exercises that support the hips and spine
• Balance strategies that help reduce fall risk
• Practical habits that support bone health in everyday life
The first portion of the workshop focuses on clear, practical education, with time for discussion and questions.
We then transition into a guided strength-based movement session, where participants safely apply key concepts in their bodies. Modifications and options are provided throughout so everyone can move in a way that feels safe and supportive.
Participants leave with:
• Greater confidence in their movement choices
• A clearer understanding of bone-supportive exercise
• Practical tools they can apply immediately in everyday life
This workshop is intentionally limited to seven participants to allow for individualized guidance and a supportive learning environment.
