Zumba Combo blends dance-based cardio, strength training and mobility into one upbeat, well-balanced workout. Each section lasts approximately 20 minutes—long enough to raise your heart rate and build strength without leaving you feeling overwhelmed or unsuccessful.
The low-impact Zumba portion begins with a dance-based warm-up followed by easy-to-follow songs. New songs are repeated so you can become familiar with the movements, build confidence and enjoy the music—even if you think you have two left feet.
The class then transitions into strength exercises using dumbbells and resistance bands, followed by mobility and stretching. Exercises are performed standing, seated on a chair or using a wall for support. There are no floor exercises.
This class is welcoming to adults managing arthritis or other movement limitations, returning to fitness or simply looking for an enjoyable way to become stronger and more active. Expect great music, a little sweat and plenty of smiles.
